Tribal

If you search the internet for Tribal dance definition, you'd come up with this. Tribal fusion is a much freer and more creative contemporary form of bellydance and uses steps, attitudes and gestures from loads of different dance forms such as flamenco, kathak, ballet, and hip hop - even butoh, goth and industrial. It had its origins in ATS. There is a tribal "look" which is about energy and how you use it and direct it. Often includes popping and locking, and very strong defined belly rolls and isolations. It is never, or very rarely, soft and graceful. It is powerful and muscular. Pilates and or yoga essential. Music can be just about anything. It can be solo or a troupe performance, and is usually choreographed or totally improvised.

Stress on  powerful and muscular. Women dominating world.

I was introduced to Derby Rolling this summer, another women dominating world with beautiful powerful women.
I wish I had those role models growing up.

Anyways, I went to this Tribal event in Malmö and met these beautiful women who radiate by just standing there and breathing. Doing what you love is beautiful. Dance will make you beautiful :)
